A super exclusive version of Acura’s top-selling SUV over the last 7 years has sold out in mind-boggling fashion. The rare, 2022 RDX PMC Edition pre-sold its 15-unit Canadian allotment in less than 5 minutes.
Consumers were invited to go to www.acura.ca on October 21, at 3pm ET to place a reservation with an Acura dealer. In mere minutes, all 15 RDX PMCs, which are hand assembled by master technicians at Acura’s Performance Manufacturing Center (PMC) and come with the spectacular Long Beach Blue Pearl paint that is also available on the NSX Type S supercar, were spoken for by Canadian Acura enthusiasts from coast to coast.
Over 90 thousand RDXs have been sold in Canada since 2006 with this latest version coming with a turbocharged 272-horsepower 2.0-litre VTEC® 4-cylinder, one of the most powerful standard engines in its class. It’s paired with a smooth and responsive 10-speed automatic with standard Sequential SportShift paddle shifters. Acura’s signature Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ (SH-AWD®) with true torque vectoring is standard on all RDX grades.
