Acura Integra Recognized by MotorWeek as Drivers’ Choice Award for Best Sport Sedan

  • Win adds to Integra’s impressive list of achievements including North American Car of the Year™
  • Integra’s sporty design, engaging driving experience, versatile package and premium features will be further highlighted with the arrival of the 2024 Integra Type S this summer

The 2023 Acura Integra was named Best Sport Sedan of the 2023 MotorWeek Drivers’ Choice Awards. The recognition highlights the Integra’s sporty design, engaging driving experience, versatile package, and premium features.

In its 42nd year, MotorWeek’s annual Drivers’ Choice Awards considers vehicles from a buyer’s point of view to include trends, innovations, value, and reliability. Their aim is to produce a list of winners that align with the perspectives of automotive experts and consumers alike and can be used as a practical guide for car shopping.

“While the original Acura Integra did much to grow the brand’s reputation as driver centric, this all-new effort jump started our desire to just head out on the open road for the pure fun of it,” said John Davis, host and creator of MotorWeek. “A true sport sedan in every way, it adds spice even to daily commutes, while having enough practicality, along with accessible pricing, to appeal to a broader clientele that just needs a great all-around car.”

The new performance gateway of the Acura brand and North American Car of the Year™, the next-gen Integra completes Acura's return to Precision Crafted Performance with 200 horsepower and the only available manual transmission in its class.

Engineered for a new generation of driving enthusiasts, the 2023 Acura Integra features an award-winning high-output turbocharged engine, an ultra-rigid body structure and a sport-tuned chassis for an exhilarating driving experience. Perfect for young, active lifestyles, Integra also features the only 5-door liftback body style in its class, for a large and flexible cargo area and superior rear seat legroom, with a sleek coupe-like profile and sporty stance. A host of new safety, driver-assistive and connected-car technologies are standard. Integra also has earned the highest safety performance rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

The 2023 Integra is the first Integra built in America, with production in Marysville, Ohio1, on the same line as the Acura TLX. Integra's turbocharged 1.5-litre engine is made exclusively at the Anna Engine Plant in Ohio.

This summer, the Integra lineup will be bolstered by the arrival of the high-performance Integra Type S. The 2024 Integra Type S will be powered by a high-revving 2.0-litre VTEC turbocharged engine producing over 300 horsepower and paired exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission and limited slip differential. More details to be shared closer to launch.
